October newsletter
Welcome to the October ’23 LifeKidz newsletter. This month saw us hosting another very successful fun filled holiday program.
Forty children daily with activities that included face painting, life-size cartoon characters a jumping castle, crafts, and plenty of outdoor playground pursuits. As our playground continues to develop the kids are loving the new spaces, the sandpit was a hit as was the new sensory pergola.
The weather was kind to us on some days which allowed for wetsuits, togs, and water play. Sheer delight.
The year is fast drawing to a close and the guy in the white beard will be upon us before we know it.
Just a couple of reminders:
-
Please if you haven’t already, download WhatsApp as this will be our primary source of communication going forward. If you are unfamiliar with the download process or how to use the app, come in and we will sort it out for you.
-
Please continue to update us on client changes i.e., medications, physical health issues or life events that have had an impact.
-
We always appreciate it when parents give us warning of non- attendance, it assists us with catering and staff ratios.
-
Finally, could we please ask that you clearly name all clothing including shoes.
This month we say a sad farewell to Natasha after 7 years of dedication to the children of Lifekidz. We will miss you Tash but wish you well on the next phase of your journey.
The Lion Foundation kindly funded us for two foldout couches and a chest freezer, we are so very grateful and can’t thank them enough.
Kia kaha te arohanui,
